Headcanon Voicing Woes
Everytime I see people making voice headcanons for their OCs or characters with no canon voice acting, it makes me wanna do something like that for Faye and other characters of mine in my Fallout fic.
Problem is...Faye is so tightly tied to me and my identity, that finding one has been hard. Oklahoman actresses aren't common place, and usually don't have roles where an accent is going back and forth between southern and midwestern. Which is what happens to me and Faye. I HAVE LOCKED MYSELF IN A CORNER WITH THIS OC, GAH!
I even tried singers man, Reba McEntire has her tv show and is hilarious in it. Yet she is full on southern with her accent. Carrie Underwood was pretty close but man all I got are interviews in that case.
I'd use my damn self, but it feels conceited kind of. Even if Faye is very self inserty on my part as much as I differentiate her from me and try to give her more life beyond myself.
they should make a movie where zendaya watches a wendy's employee and shift manager get all sweaty and encourages them to kiss one another.

there is an aesthetic trend for light backgrounds and light text, and i hate it!
if your background is white, making your text pastel pink makes it harder to read. If I'm at the back of the room, or if there's sunlight coming through the window, I can't read it!
If you're teaching a class on *checks notes* "accessible teaching for all" and you do this, I think you should be forced to give your students cash money for every slide with a white background and pastel text.
Soooooo obnoxious that 4thewords is still down. Why did they plan a major maintenance/update for Friday, so when things inevitably go wrong it's down on the weekend when the most people will be affected...
I will clearly need to adjust how I manage my files. Everything is stuck over there currently, after this I'm thinking I just need to keep like an active writing file over there and copy/paste everything out to my drive at the end of every writing session.
