Legendary #Irish band #mybloodyvalentine, 1991. Taking the name of Canadian horror movie they struggled for several years before a lineup and style change brought them success with their albums #isntanything and then their masterpiece #loveless, on which they racked up several hundred thousand £ in production costs, almost bankrupting their label in the process. After its release and subsequent tour there were many false starts but no new releases and the band was assumed to have broken up, with some members leaving the music I business entirely. Leader #kevinshields contributed some music to the #lostintranslation soundtrack, but it was not until 2013, 22 years after their last album, that a new record, #mbv suddenly and mysteriously appeared, with subsequent demand from fans crashing their website.
