Overstimulation life hack
I've heard from a few people now who say "my ear canals are too small for foam earplugs; I can't wear them!"
Mine are too, and here's what I do:
(four picture of a cutting board that show a person cutting foam earplugs both for length, taking off about a third from the bottom, and for width, taking of about a fifth from the side. The last pic shows five cut-to-size earplugs.)
This way the earplugs stay in. I use them at night, and while I can't lie on my side without feeling them, it's a feeling I have gotten used to. Maybe this helps someone out there!
