“magazine” - Jegulus microfic - @into-the-jeggyverse - 200 words
James is staring at him. Regulus knows this because he’s also staring at James. They’ve been playing this game for about an hour now. One of them will be staring until the other catches them and they quickly look away and pretend to be reading again. Regulus thinks he’s doing a much better job than James is, at least Regulus has actual study materials in front of him. James is sitting in the corner of the library with a Quidditch Weekly that Regulus is pretty sure is several months old.
As much as Regulus would love to continue staring at James, he does have actual work that he needs to get done and he’ll never be able to focus with gorgeous hazel eyes focusing on him. He starts to pack up his books and once again he can feel James’ eyes on him. He swings his bag over his shoulder and starts to make his way out of the library. James quickly glances up then looks away as Regulus is about to pass him.
Regulus slows down just a bit as he walks past James.
“Your magazine is upside down, Potter.” He tells James and continues out of the library.
