Theres a lot of people that seem confused on the difference between explicit canon, subtext, and headcanons. And like, words have meanings.
And I'm low-key tired of it, so.
Canon is something that was straight up said or happened or was the whole point of that media.
Subtext is still Canon, but you have to use your head, and think and read between the lines to see it.
Headcanons are stuff that is only canon in your head.
If you find yourself asking, hey! Is Goldilocks having blonde hair canon subtext or a headcanon?
I'd say read her name. Slowly. Out loud. Then think long and hard.
Srsly tho, knowing the difference is important. If I have to hear someone stating a headcanon like it's canon and trying to convince everyone else it's canon too, imma scream
