Puppygames, a UK-based micro-studio, has launched a Kickstarter for their latest creation, BATTLEDROID. They’ve been working on this epic title for 14 years, and now they need a bit of help to bring it to life.
This is a free-to-play, massively multiplayer online PvP auto-battler for Linux. While you fight for control over a real-world model with 250,000 unique territories. You’ll need to defend your area with killer bases and attack others with massive robot armies. These bots come loaded with machine guns, rockets, lasers, and more.
This title is all about strategy. Once you launch an attack, it’s hands-off. You can just sit back and watch the chaos unfold, hoping your plan works. The Kickstarter runs until June 28, 2024, so there’s time to join the action.
BATTLEDROID Kickstarter is Live
Caspian Prince, the director of Puppygames, says, “BATTLEDROID is deep and complex, which is why it took so long to develop. We’re close to the finish line but need funding for some final touches.” They need your help to polish and test it before unleashing it on the world.
In-game, you’ll become the commander of a fearsome robot army, fighting in epic battles. Set up your defenses, test their strength, and send your forces to crush your friends and enemies online. Climb the ranks and conquer the Earth!
But watch out – the world of BATTLEDROID never sleeps. It features a persistent open-world map of the real Earth with those 250,000 territories to conquer, while using real terrain and area's data.
