Hi. I recently found out that I have DID and I've had a lot of questions about it! But one I can't seem to find the answer on is the following - Is it possible to have romantic relationships with other members of the system? Is a system considered more like siblings/family or like roommates/friends? Sorry if this is sort of a stupid question. Thanks :>
It is definitely possible to have a relationship with other system members, one of my Alters describes having a relationship with another Alter and I’ve seen many Hosts who are in a relationship with their system members. I’ve never really seen anyone say that it was wrong so I don’t think you’d be judged a lot for being in a relationship. System members are only family if they say they are or if you feel they are but other than that they’re not really your relatives or anything like that, and are closer to acquaintances and friends.

Day Seventeen: What's an Alter you're interested in knowing more about or befriending? Which Alter do you know the best?

I'm very interested in learning more about Charity but she never fronts and as far as I know doesn't talk to any of the other Alters so there's little ways I can learn about her.
The Alter I know the best has to be Bashuck, or Jane but I think I know Bashuck better than her. We've gone through a lot together and we've both grown so much, I'm very proud of him and how much he's matured.

Day Twelve: What's the worst you've woken up to finding out your Alter's done? What's the best?
Michael here for Day Twelve!
I think the worst would be when Charity started a fight with my mother and then left me and Ben out. That sucked, there was so much crying and neither of us could speak to explain what happened and that it wasn’t us.
The best is probably a tie between Bashuck going to school for me (as reluctant as he was) while i was very depressed, and helping with my homework. And Jane, while I was in a very bad depressive streak, feeding the body and taking a shower and then dressing the body in clean clothes.
I don’t have very many “interesting” stories as I can remember some things from them fronting and that they’re not very spectacular with their surprises.

Day Ten: Have you ever done a system map? How extensively have you mapped your system?

I have never done an actual system map as I can’t find how to, so if you know how to could you maybe tell me how because I would really like to know.
The most “mapping” I’ve done is writing down their personalities and everything I know about the ones that I’m aware of.
