Appreciating my son today.

BANDITT YES THE BANDITT BOY Also more style experiment

Today we had to put our dog, Banditt, down. He lived 15 long, beautiful, pampered years and he will forever be our baby boy. Last night he started having troubles with his hind legs, he couldn’t climb or jump and he was stumbling everywhere and falling over. We brought him to a 24 hour animal hospital and after x-rays and blood work we were told it was either spinal disk disease  or cancer and his hind legs were rigid, we were given meds to bring home with us and we were to bring Banditt back in 24 hours to see if he improves or not. Today he hadn’t improved. He was still struggling, started dragging his back legs, still couldn’t stand and was falling over and wouldn’t drink any water. We brought him back to the vet and this time his front paws were rigid too, it was cancer. There was no treatment for him and he would just slowly start to suffer until he passed so we made the very tough decision to put him down. I felt his last heart beat and kissed his little nose. I am going to miss him forever, he’s being cremated and put in a beautiful urn, we would also like to get urn necklaces, especially for my sister, we are also going to spread some of his ashes out at the lake. I know he was greeted with nothing but love on the other side of the rainbow bridge but this hurts and its going to hurt for awhile. Pets are family and the loss is just as hard as a human passing. I wouldn’t wish this on anyone and I wish I still had my fur baby to love and to hold. I love you so much Banditt and I cant wait to see you again one day.

Banditt is going to be a big brother in a few weeks and tbh hes not excited lol
