What a strange ride this year has been, huh? I look back at some of my posts from January and February and laugh at what I was envisioning for 2020 and what actually happened. No one couldβve seen this global pandemic coming. Or maybe some predicted it and we ignored the warnings. Either way it drastically impacted all that we took for granted in βnormalβ life. And here we are 9 to 10 months later still trying to adjust and adapt to it all. β£ β£ Iβve gone back and forth on how to be more tolerant to those subscribing to misinformation and baseless conspiracy views. Itβs kind of a juggle to be honest. Some days Iβm more compassionate and accepting, trying to be a bigger and better person. Other days Iβm eye rolling and confounded how some folks can be so naive to fall pray for such improbable claims. (Covid made in a lab, 5G tower fears, Bill Gates tracking chips , antivaxxers, anti-maskers, etc.) Iβve found instagram to be a great source of joy and inspiration for evolving my practice this past year, and at other times Iβve also found it to be major dragβanother heavy day doom-scrolling. Itβs been a bit of a wobbly balancing act for me navigating the hyper-informative world of social media. Some days I just wanna unplug from the insta matrix! β£ β£ Luckily, Iβve found and followed a few accounts who disrupt spiritual bypassing in the yoga and wellness world.
