wanting to talk to my friends is weird cause i can't seem to find an in between from small talk like how their day went to cutting myself open and pulling out parts for them to see which feels odd cause there's this fear with talking about yourself unprompted especially when you're sharing things that you've never said to anyone else, even if it's trivial like 'ahh I want to date someone', that if you're rejected or like dismissed, it becomes harder to do it again? like yeah, the key to relationships is knowing and being known, but how much is too much? how much do you share before you're left holding pieces of yourself no one wants to see. you wouldn't start a conversation by saying the top ten ways your parents changed you...can you?
