Heylo gang, need your attention for a scalding second! @mssmithlove1 and a ragtag team of knowledgeable nerds are making some plans and preparations for a new Sherlock convention in Minneapolis!  We’ve got a great team so far, packed with con-building experience and no shortage of enthusiasm, and are excited to dig in our various footwear to bring this thing to life!

It would primarily be a Sherlock convention, but plenty of other fandoms would be represented with panels/meetups/merch/etc. (Yuri On Ice, Check Please!, MCU, Harry Potter, whatever you all expressed interest in), and, though we can’t give specific dates yet, it’s looking like Summer 2018, because we all need to budget for 221B Con just like you!

Anyone have recs for fics where young Sherlock is just starting to have to cope with being neuro diverse (not necessarily the spectrum, BPD/ ADHD also accepted, glamorizations of illegal drugs not preferred although use/abuse allowed)? I.e. How he learns to cope with it and become functional and find his niche?

For John’s first Christmas back at 221B, Sherlock feels compelled to do something special for him. But nothing seems special enough.

There’s a formal Christmas gala for the police benefit, everyone is dressed to the nines, and it just happens to be the biggest blizzard in London’s recent memory.

For Christmas, John asks Sherlock to tell him one true thing everyday for 12 days.

John’s volunteered to work the Christmas Eve shift, again, for the A&E. And who should come in but Sherlock? Optionally: with a goose. 

Through a department store mix-up, Sherlock and John get their Christmas packages mixed up and they have to coordinate with one another to trade. And as it turns out, they don’t seem to stop texting when they should.

mssmithlove1, danielleblogsjohnlock, stitchyblogs, myself, and whoever else are going to be heading down to Nando’s tonight at 8pm! mssmithlove1 and I are stopping at Georgetown Cupcake (it’s practically across the street, aka destiny) along the way, so we’re gonna be leaving the hotel around 7 if any of you wanna meet up in the lobby and come along for the whole adventure!

If you just wanna meet us there at 8 or whenever, it’s a right out of the hotel lobby doors onto Wisconsin, another right onto Bethesda Ave, and then just walk until you hear some top banter!
