I almost forgot that among my rewrite ideas I have several Sherlock rewrites.
One where Watson and Sherlock are both women. In a sapphic style.
One where Sherlock is a woman and Watson a man (one platonic version and one romantic version).
One where Watson is a woman and Sherlock a man (I love the platonic version from Elementary, but sorry, I also want a romance version).
One where Moriarty is a man and Sherlock a woman (one platonic version and one romantic version of course).
And all of these could be official rewrites, or stories inspired by these character models.
In the meantime, if you have any versions similar to what I've described, please tell me about them.
I seem to recall there's also a romanticized version of Moriarty and Sherlock in the manga, if I'm not mistaken? Or it's just a story about these two and people ship the characters and nothing would ever happen between them?

I spent a few hours scrolling the Nero Wolfe tag back to like 2011 the other night and I wonder if the Adlock fandom even knew who Nero Wolfe was. Or if they were just like oh this must be the universally accepted fanchild! and went along with it
