People are getting to comfortable accusing authors and other creatives of using AI without any proof otherwise. AI detecting tools are not infallible, and more often than not will say something is AI. Entire careers and reputations are being ruined because of false accusations that have little to no merit other than someone's gut feelings. And once the accusation is out there, it doesn't matter if it's retracted. The damage is already done, the correction never travels as far as the original claim.
Did you know that I...post Youtube videos about what I've learned/do as an indie author?
You probably didn't know until now. My bad. ^^;
But ANYWAY, the aim for me is to post at least 1-2 videos a month. I've already posted a video about how to get author interviews for those working on sharing their work with more readers!
Here's what to expect on my channel going into the rest of this April and May:
April 20th: The inspirations behind writing my upcoming YA fantasy short story collection "Found!" ✨
April 27th: A collab video with Dianna Gunn from the #WeeknightWriters community on Bluesky discussing our HOT TAKES on prologues and epilogues! 🔥
Mid-May 2026 (probably after "Found" is published): Time management as an indie author! 🕰️
If you want to check those out coming out during the rest of this month/early next month, subscribe to the channel! Thanks for your support and happy watching/reading!
Introducing Av, and a new(ish) show on the channel!
3 Flavors
The latest YouTube video! Wanted to mix it up and have another shorter one since the last video got so long. For all my villains lovers out there! Hope you enjoy!

New Author Interview!
I had so much fun doing this author chat with Moriah Chavis! This one is a little different from my usual interviews. She read my upcoming YA dark fantasy faerie book, Runaways, and I read her upcoming YA historical fiction murder mystery book, The Curious Case of the Midnight Specter. Then we asked each other questions, alternating back and forth! It was a blast and I'd love to do more author chats like this in the future!
Be sure to check out the interview and if you need a transcript, there's one available on my website.
Preorder The Curious Case of the Midnight Specter
Stornshire, England - 1890
Leighanna Pauley barely escaped consumption. Now, she's claimed by both Life and Death. Fascinated by justice and why she survived when so many others haven't, she has a new obsession: the murder of a fellow socialite. But the police have no leads.
The investigation emboldens Leighanna to attend the first ball held at the Carmine Estate. When midnight strikes, the unimaginable takes place. Time stops for everyone but Leighanna. Before her stands the ghost of the dead girl, pleading with Leighanna to catch her killer before someone else is murdered.
In a race against time, Leighanna hunts for clues across Stornshire. Will she be able to solve the case before the murderer strikes again, or will she become just another forgotten victim?
Preorder Runaways + Get Preorder Rewards!

Soon she finds herself on an extraordinary and dangerous adventure, navigating between the Seelie and Unseelie courts. But secrets await in the woods, and Hannah only knows stories, not the truth about the threat that stalks their family.
Will she be able to rescue her sister and return home before it’s too late?
