hmm any tips for making comics? (asking for normal reasons)
either commit or be okay with having an inconsistent update schedule/ possibly not finishing it. Actually- just accept the risk of possibly not completing it. (completion is more of a worry for continuity strips- a gag-a-day would probably be fine coming out whenever? I don't know. Also they don't often have clear endings. )Obviously things will come up that could delay your page-making... but #2 should help you with that.
Keep a buffer. I usually go with three or two months (8-12 weeks) in advance, updating weekly. I also usually get a few weeks of buffer done before the comic starts- i only had one week's worth of buffer working on OTF- but it updated biweekly and was way less detailed/time intensive than PSP. Lots of people have more or less buffer but most would agree it's a good call. I know some gag-a-day people keep a set of filler strips to air when they need them. That's also probably a good call if you're doing something like that.
Don't be afraid to be lazy, especially if you're working on a tight schedule. PSP issue 1 is almost entirely unshaded- it's easier for me to push out a page a week that way. OTF has messy colours and god's worst handlettering. but I managed 2/week which is. honestly insane to me hahaa... there's a reason most daily comics are black and white. we're not all dave willis.
Look at other resources too! I am an amateur! I barely know what i'm doing! I know screentones is a pretty good resource- haven't listened personally but i know some of the people who work on it are cool???

I was just wondering if you were going to post any updates for Uchiha MC, I'm absolutely enamored with this story. It's a wonderful change from the normal MadaSaku stories I've read, or even MadaxOC ones. It makes me want to read more and it leaves my mind reeling every time :)
Uchiha MC is a story that is very near and dear to my heart and, as such, a lot of time and effort goes into each and every chapter. Because of this (and the fact I have like nine other stories in the works right now - thank you Sakura Week), updates for that story are pretty few and far between! Iād say that MC only really gets updated once a month. But, even though it may be so infrequent, I can guarantee amazing chapters each and every time! Especially with the story finally kicking into high gear after the last chapter.
Iām thrilled that youāre enjoying the story and I hope you continue to enjoy as I move forward! <3
