#astral help

or any insight as to why this is happening?

Hello, have any of you ever been to this type of astral space? it was like an old wooden bridge in the middle of the crystal clear ocean, and there were there giant fish, i know for a fact it wasn't a dream or a hallucination of the astral because i wasn't in control, and it was very real. i ended up walking own a very long dock and ended up by an old algae covered shell, full of rain water, and i heard someone trying to call for me form the water, it were these people who had bright green and blue eyes, i’m not sure if they said my name or a different name but i responded. i’m not sure about this but could someone give me some advice and help please???

Okay so today I read this post from this awesome witch who I'll tag below about astral travel. I'll also link that post down below, in case the following summary doesn't satiate your questions: Basically, astral travel is different than astral projecting, in that astral travel is much easier and safer than astral projection, which I personally have never been able to accomplish yet. But this isn't a how-to diary, this is an event diary, so here's how MY first time astral travelling went: I looked up some cave sounds, because I have a certain connection with caves that some of you understand and relate to (wink wink). As I put my earbuds in and listened to the sounds, I started immediately on building my astral temple (for the baby witches like me out there, an astral temple is basically a house in the astral, your house, to be precise). I whipped up a nice cave with a tunnel out of it toward the right, with two channels like staircases collecting water and meeting in the front of the cave, making a reservoir/lake of sorts. There was some daylight filtering though the tunnel out of the cave, glinting on the water and the damp rock floor. I looked around, but by then I was losing concentration due to my growing excitement and inexperience. At this point, I was feeling adventurous, so I called a couple spirits, one of whom I hope to adopt as a companion one day, we'll call them Melvin and Sally. I summoned them both individually, Melvin first, saying, "(person), I summon thee." They came trotting through the tunnel and stopped there, looking at me expectantly. Now would be a good time to mention I had taken my dragon form but was having trouble holding it and concentrating. I hurriedly bowed, although I was having quite some trouble concentrating as well as keeping calm, so I returned to my normal form and smiled. I stammered out some formal, "It's nice to meet you"s before my mind went on a quick tangent and I dropped the connection. I came back, quickly apologized, thanked them for coming, and exited, helped along by my mom coming and "waking me up." Now you can see why I have more followers on tumblr than friends irl, I can't talk to people ʕ•ﻌ•ʔ but no, I have to say, I came back to the physical feeling rested, healed, rejuvenated, anything you can imagine. I'm definitely doing that more often. Do any of my followers (or anyone who sees this) have experience with astral projection that would like to give some tips? I have been trying and so far can get my body into basically sleep paralysis, and I’ve experienced the static sound a lot of people say they hear, and even get to the part where I’m trying to like “get up out of my body” and I can kinda get my arms and legs moving out but I just can’t get all the way up. I feel like I get stuck halfway. Does anyone know why this happens? Should I just keep trying until it works eventually? If anyone has tips and wants to message me or reblog and add to this I’d really appreciate it.

  Usually when I go to the astral I get the crap kicked out of me, but (I guess recently) I've grown a lot and have been able to convince others of it.    I was driving with some astral friends to pick someone up at. It was dark and kinda hard to see but I was comfortable. When we got there the guy we were picking up was hurt pretty bad, I have some medical experience so we loaded him up in the truck and went to get out of the parking lot we were in. Sadly the person driving sucked at driving and flipped the damn truck. I pulled everyone out and set up a mini hospital from a small workshop/ old looking house that was close by. As I started treating them I couldn't help but feel I was being watched.    I dismissed it at first and just focused on treating my friends, but then I saw a small, pale child who was dressed in scrappy clothing. By the time I saw him I had done everything I could do for my friends so I went to ask the kid some questions. The little bastard tried to charge me, to scare me away, but it didn't work (this time). I held my ground, bent down, and asked him where we were. He got wide eyed and backed away clearly freaked out. He muttered "you weren't supposed to do that." And ran up some stairs. I went to chase after him but I woke up.
