How To Reprogram Your Mind ❤︎
Your mindset is the key to everything. It affects everything you attract, anything you desire, and even the people around you. Cultivating a bad bitch mindset and a dolly attitude is so important so let’s get it together. ᧔🜲᧓
THOUGHT DETACHMENT ;
thought detachment is a technique for observing your thoughts without identifying with them or acting on them, experiencing your feelings and emotions in the moment without allowing them to control you. It is being able to step back and observe situations objectively, and then acting on inspiration or intuition instead of emotion.
thoughts are NOT facts!! You are not your thoughts but a witness to them. When a thought arises, simply notice it without judgment. See the thought as a mental event, like watching clouds drift by. Gently bring your attention back to something concrete. This allows thoughts to pass and lose their grip over time.
ACCEPTANCE ;
focusing on the past doesn’t help you. focusing on negativity and how to stop or control it doesn’t help you. But accepting does. Accept your past life & current life and know that you have the power to change.
Look around and digest your current position. If you don’t like where you’re at then make a list of your most simple goals and desires. For me, I’m a junior in high school with multiple honors + AP’s and my dream girl is always productive and organized. So when I’m stressed, unorganized, and I have a pile of work to do I simply keep to-do lists, resets, and routines in my notion to keep me on track. So instead of sitting in my room sad and stressed I make moves to solve my problems.
Once you accept your issues, it’s your time to take action and responsibility of your reality. fully embrace your internal experiences and current circumstances, rather than resisting them, in order to take action aligned with your values.
CHANGE YOUR BELIEFS ;
Most of the time the beliefs we have about ourselves come from pre-conceived notions that aren’t true. To change your beliefs about yourself, start by recognizing and challenging negative thoughts through self-awareness and cognitive restructuring techniques like positive affirmations and mindfulness. Pay attention to your thoughts and emotions, especially when feeling uncomfortable or upset, to pinpoint your core negative beliefs. -> journaling
Recognize that a belief is just a belief, not necessarily a fact. Ask yourself if your belief is based on assumptions rather than facts, and actively look for evidence that contradicts it. Replace old, limiting beliefs with new, more constructive, and empowering ones. For example, if you believe you're not good enough, a replacement belief could be, "I am good enough, and I am working on improving myself”
AFFIRMATIONS ;
listening to affirmations through subliminals or even just by reading them can simply reframe negative thought patterns to positive ones. I love listening to affirmation tapes from YouTube when I wake up & subliminals for money and beauty at night before I sleep.
