Au ideas i have no further explanation for part three!
Something involving Shuichi wearing a mask to conseal his identity??? (this is the vaugest think i've ever thunk)
Puck/Robin Goodfellow Kokichi
I keep making Kokichi the chesire cat but what if Shuichi was the catboy with Cheshire's abilties and doesn't like being compared to him?
Deltarune au. nuff said.
Kokichi is a chronic thief of closed furry species designs, specifically the ones that are such basic and common ideas that they make you go "hey wait you can't paywall that, that's like copywriting the letter A"
Dyo au (its such a good indie puzzle game i beg y'all to at least play it, they'd be so funny as the little minotaur dudes)
Au where Shuichi is spiderman, and Kokichi is suppose to be his destended to die lover, but Kokichi is also a powered vigilanti and reveals himself to stop his own death when he realizes Shuichi won't be able to in time (i just don't know enough about spiderman to make this concept work)
Iâve realized I have so many âHelena mentors various teenage girlsâ AUs and âBarbara mentors various (other) teenage girlsâ AUs that I could theoretically mash them into one mega AU where they hash out their philosophical and more petty differences by passive aggressively trying to steal each otherâs mentees.
(Helena got Steph after WG and they both rub it in Babsâ face a lot).
I had intended to simply reblog my original post with the new stories added and finished projects removed, but tumblrâs weird no-edit reblog system got in the way. Curses.

Daffy, this is the one I'd mentioned to you the other day. I've got notes on events for 5 chapters or long stories, both for Flynn, Yuri, and the rest of the gang, and for the show they're acting in. I figured it wouldn't hurt to get the tiny bit I have started for it posted here.
âPoint the gun at me.â
The weapon in Flynnâs hands remained aimed at the ground between himself and Yuri for a fraction of a second too long. Yuri sighed and rolled his eyes.
âItâs an unloaded prop gun. I checked it myself before we began. Now, point it at me.â He sighed again as Flynn did as he was told. âFingerâs not even on the trigger,â he muttered.
The beginning of a protest about gun safety was on Flynnâs lips, but Yuri cut him off.
âHold it one-handed. Youâre playing a criminal right now, not a cop.â Shaking his head, he swiftly adjusted Flynnâs grip on the pistol. âIf anyone was born for the partâŠ. Okay. Youâre supposed to disarm this guy, so Iâm going to walk you through the motions before you practice.â
Backing away a step, Yuri held up his hands. âKeep eye contact with the bad guy. The gunâll stay in your field of vision, but try to keep eye contact. You want to keep him focused on what youâre saying as you try to talk him down, rather than letting him focus on his trigger finger or how close youâve gotten.â
Flynn realized all of a sudden that Yuri really had gotten close again and, before he knew it, Yuri had grabbed the gunâand his handâand spun him around. His arm was pulled back, high across his chest. The gun was yanked out of his grip, and Yuri shoved him away. It was Flynnâs turn to raise his hands as he turned back to find the weapon now trained on him.
âDid you get that?â
âCan we try one more time? Slowly.â
âSure.â
He handed back the gun and they ran through it again. Yuri went slow, as requested, and Flynn let himself be guided through each step. He was almost focused enough to miss the slight quickening of his heartbeat as he was held briefly against Yuriâs chest. The moment passed, and he was disarmed, freed, and relieved once again that Yuri made a point of never flirting with him while they practiced his stunts. It had been an unexpected bit of professionalism, but one he was grateful for. There was no way he could have concentrated if Yuri hadnât been taking it seriously, too.
They were working on the set of Protect and Serve, a police procedural in its second season that Flynn had landed a small part in as one of the background characters. As Officer G. Finch, he hadnât even been important enough to have a first name originally, but heâd heard that his limited appearances had sparked enough interest among the fans that the scriptwriters were gradually writing him into the episodes. If he became a regular, it would be his first big break. He wasnât quite sure if that was possible, given that the K-9 unit partners played by Niren and Raven were plenty popular, but it was an exciting thought nonetheless.
As for Yuri, technically, he was the showâs stunt coordinator, but he also doubled sometimes as one of the forensics lab techs. Flynn hadnât learned all that much about him, aside from the fact that he wasnât shy about flirting during downtime on the set. He was professional when it came time to work however, and he was easy enough to get along withâŠabout half the time. The other half of the time, he was a smug, stubborn, opinionated jackass, and there was little warning about which side of Yuri was going to come out. They worked together surprisingly well when they werenât fighting though, so Flynn tried to overlook his quirks.
They switched roles so that Flynn could practice the disarming move until he was sure he had it down and Yuri was satisfied with how smoothly he could pull it off. As Flynn handed back the gun to be returned to props storage, he noticed that Zagi had snuck over at some point. The other actor was lurking in the shadows next to a stand of stage lightsâŠwatching. Pushing away from the wall, he came forward to join them.
âIs it my turn now, Yuri?â
Zagi did not share Yuriâs professionalism off the set. Everything was a game to him until the cameras were rolling. Some of the crew that had been around for the first season had said that Zagi used to interrupt when other actors would practice stunts with Yuri. Somehow, Yuri had made him stop, though he couldnât keep him from hanging around.
âThis isnât your stunt, Zagi. Finch wouldnât have the skill to disarm Bastian that way.â
âYou never know. The writers might have me let myself be caught one day. Maybe Iâll need to trade secrets about a bigger bad guy.â
âYou are the big bad guy.â
Zagi grinned, showing teeth. âThereâs always someone nastier. So, show me.â
Yuri passed him the gun and turned away. âFlynn, you do it.â
âAm I not interesting enough for you, Yuri? How about we play with this?â
The gun dropped to the cement floor with a weighty âclunk!â and Zagi drew a knife. Yuri was only just turning at the sound and Zagi was set to rush him. Flynn didnât even think before throwing himself between them. He caught Zagi mid-lunge and used that momentum to throw him to the ground. Wrenching the knife out of his grip, he backed away, appalled, as Zagi shook with quiet, breathless laughter.
âItâs fake,â Yuri said.
âHuh?â
Flynn gaped as Yuri snatched the knife away and jammed it into his own palm. The sight made him flinch, and it took him a minute to realize that the reason he couldnât see where the blade had gone straight through was because it hadnât. He watched closely and saw it glide back out of the handle as Yuri drew it back.
Sparing a quick glance for Zagi, still lying prone on the floor, Yuri grinned at Flynn.
âWanna grab a drink after work?â
------------------
Apparently, Yuriâs invitation hadnât been meant as a date, and Flynn spent a fair amount of the evening trying to convince himself that he wasnât disappointed. It was a little difficult when he was the only new cast member sitting in that tiny booth in the corner bar. He sipped quietly at his beer while Yuri argued with Adecor and Boccosâa pair of self-styled thespians playing background characters in a daytime cop show while awaiting the takeoff of their Shakespearian careers. Leblanc, who played the chief, looked just about ready to jump into the escalating argument, while Raven tossed back his drink and Niren laughed at something Yuri had said to Boccos. The volume of the argument was rising to a level where Flynn was ready to intervene. Before he could speak, however, Niren rested a hand on Yuriâs shoulder and, just like that, Yuri calmed down and sat back in his seat. Flynn eyed them sideways over a long pull of his beer.
Heâd noticed before that Yuri had a strange, vaguely irreverent admiration for the older man. It was something more than simply having worked on the same show together, though Flynn wasnât sure exactly what. There was something genuine in Yuriâs respect for Niren that wasnât apparent when he spoke with anyone else.
Leblanc took his cue from Niren and changed the subject.
âAnyone heard what the writers are up to?â
âI hear theyâre gonna kill off Bastian for the season finale,â Raven said.
Always full of gossip about what the writers were up to, Ravenâs information was often somewhat sketchy. Still, Flynn was startled by what heâd heard. Bastian was Zagiâs character. The writers had been setting him up as an arch nemesis, the key player in the cityâs drug trafficking problem. Theyâd have to have a very good reason to kill him off. Yuri didnât share his doubts.
âSo, the Red Eyes can have a good idea every now and again.â
âThe Red Eyesâ was Yuriâs nickname for the writers, so chosen because, in his words, âThey come up with most of that crap at three in the morning, out of their minds with sleep deprivation.â
âThey canât just get rid of him,â Flynn argued.
âSure! Theyâve got it all figured out!â Raven threw an arm around Nirenâs shoulders. âMy decorated partner here is gonna shoot him underâshall we sayâquestionable circumstances. Heâll spend a few episodes of season three on desk duty during the IA investigation, agonizing over his choice and the future of his career and his pension and the fate of his lovely wife whoâs only justââ
Yuri rather spoiled Ravenâs dramatics by asking rather pointedly: âWhat wife?â
âTheyâre gonna write one in for him. Where was I? Oh, yes! His lovely wife whoâs only just been diagnosed with cancerââ
âTheyâre writing me a dying wife?â
Yuri rolled his eyes. âSomeone needs to keep them away from the soaps.â
Raven pouted. âYou people have no appreciation for drama, for pathos!â He jabbed a finger at Flynn. âThis young man ought to be glad to hear it!â
âWhy me?â Did they know he would be glad to see Zagi gone? Most of the other actors complained about him, so why should he be singled out? Unless Raven had somehow linked Flynnâs dislike with the way Zagi harassed Yuri.
âBecause just who do you think will be helping me clean up the streets while my partnerâs stuck at his desk?â
âMe?â
âThatâs right!â He gestured grandly, and the rest of the cast pulled their beers protectively out of harmâs way. âOfficers Swann and Goldfinchââ
Yuri snorted, nearly choking on his drink at the name, originally a joke about Flynnâs character, identified only by his surname-only badge: Officer G. Finch. Yuri had started it one day during a break. âGoldfinch. I like it. Suits you.â The writers had picked it up and worked it into the script as a teasing nickname for rookie cop Gregory Finch.
As they left the bar together later, Yuri nudged Flynn with his shoulder. âGuess I need to pick out a new nickname for you.â
âIsnât one enough?â
âNot if everyone else is using it. How do you like Tweety Bird?â
Flynn wasnât sure how to respond to the implications of all that. Luckily, they were coming up on the corner where heâd be turning and Yuri would continue on straight, so he simply wished him a good night and hurried on his way home. Yuriâs quiet laughter followed him long after he was out of earshot.
Author's notes: A Cup of Coffee, a Book of Poetry, and...
This is actually one of my absolute favorites out of all my stories, though it's not one of the more popular ones. I think most of the problems are probably due to my own clumsiness in writing it. Here are the details in a linear format:
Flynn runs an independent bookstore that Yuri supplies with baked goods. They became friends and, eventually, friends with benefits. One evening during the holidays, Yuri comes in while Flynn is reading a book of poetry with some evocative imagery, and Flynn's imagination combines bits of that with memories of nights spent with Yuri. When the boiler in Yuri's apartment breaks down, Flynn invites him to spend the night and, just as they've done before when Flynn has invited him over, they end up sleeping together. In the morning, Yuri makes a crack about Flynn's fixation with his neck and leaves. As he starts to eat breakfast alone, Flynn decides that he definitely wants their relationship to be more than friends with benefits and resolves to talk to Yuri about it.
Put that way, it sounds fine. Thing is, when I wrote it I already knew all that was true, so I didn't think twice about intentionally leaving out some of the details at the beginningâimportant things like 'Flynn and Yuri have been sleeping together for some time.' I got so wrapped up in playing around with the imagery Flynn's imagination keeps supplying that I didn't realize he seems kind of creepy without knowing that single, very important piece of information. Hopefully by the end of the story I was able to convey that they were 1) involved in a consensual, sexual relationship and 2) Flynn would never do anything that Yuri didn't welcome. I never got much feedback on it at all, so I really don't know how successful I was in conveying all that. It's fine in my head, and I like it being misleading, so I never went back and rewrote it, but I sort of ended up stuck with the worry that people think I made Flynn a creeper in this story, and that was never my intention. Even the title is supposed to demonstrate that Flynn is interested in Yuri for more than just sex. He wants to share more of his life with Yuri.
The imagery is what I really like about this one. Even though Flynn is bothered by the poem that sets his imagination running, he still has all these flashes of imagery and memory that I had a fun time writing and blending together and incorporating into physical sensations. In that sense, I really think this is one of my stronger stories. It certainly feels more cohesive to me than others I've written. If I was certain I could get the tone right, I'd try for a followup, but I don't think I would be able to match this one.
Anyway, I think that's about all I have to say on this one for now, aside from a quick apology. If anyone finds this little side blog and had some issues with Flynn in this story, I'm sorry I wasn't able to make it clear that, runaway id notwithstanding, he's still a very respectful partner.
