it hasn’t been shocking news since he popped out his mothers womb that fine June, reflecting all the lights in the hospital, blinding all who passed by.

kokichi is pale.

shuichi is, not pale.

not exactly blessed by some melanin god, but at least he doesn’t blend into the printer paper when doing refills.

dating kokichi, shuichi didn’t think much would change. they’d live their normal lives, except maybe kiss and hug every try once in a while

until the two were invited to a beach party.

“kokichi. please. i’m begging you.”

“JUST PUT THE SUNSCREEN ON”

the two chase each other across the sand for about half an hour before kokichi is noticeably a lot more red than he ought to be after a bit of running.

one of their friends sits him down (more like pulls him by the ear and shoves him onto the ground), and (aggressively) starts slathering him up in the highest SPF they have

shuichi learns two lessons from that day on.

1. kokichi needs to bathe in sunscreen

idk if this has been said before but what did shuichi mean by this...

if i were shuichi, i would end that sentence by saying: 'if he can do that quickly, he can also...'

if we put our thinking caps on for a second, it is NOT a stretch to say that shuichi was about to say that because kokichi can pump the knife up and down quickly, he can also pump other things up and down quickly. bc lets be serious for a second, what the fuck else could he have been getting at here?????
