People have been living in Assebroek for quite some time now. After some research we found pictures of how things were before.

Assebroek is very easy to reach. You can get there by bus, bike, car or (if you’re lucky) even by horse. We can’t assure you that the horse is going to be there, but sometimes there is a charming carriage and you can just hop on. Obviously; all of this happens at your own risk. Don’t say we didn’t warn you! Taking the bus is probably a better idea; it’s cheap, easy and quick. the lines from Bruges to Assebroek are 1 and 11, but it’s probably best to visit the official page of “De Lijn” just to be sure, since busses often change their timetables. Assebroek is very picturesque so it’s really nice to have a little ride by bike. You can enjoy the nature and take a little pit stop at the many places that have been created to come at ease. If you’re walking through the streets, you can always catch a glimp of people’s living room. And is there a better entertainment than that?
