**location - Marsh house**
Kyle was having a panic attack. A bad one.
He sat on the couch in the Marshās living room. His hands were neatly folded in his lap and he sat staring at the floor, his body practically vibrating with unease. Stan had been gone all morning...hadnāt left a note. Didnāt say a word to anyone. Nobody had seen him and Kyle was starting to really worry about him.
Heād wanted to give the noirette the benefit of the doubt and tried to not worry too much for the first few hours. Maybe heād just gone for a really early walk or something. Seemed unlikely knowing the type of person Stan is, but it was possible and at the time, he needed to cling to some kind of hope that his boyfriend, the love of his life, was alright.
He wasn't so hopeful right about now.
Sharon, for the millionth time: Are you sure he didnāt say anything to you?
Kyle: I am absolutely, one hundred and ten percent sure he did not say a word to me.
Sharon: This is so unlike him...
Kyle: Except for the time when...
Sharon:Ā This is not like that time!
Kyle didnāt blame Sharon for not wanting to believe this was similar...but the only time Stan had ever disappeared like this was the weekend after his fifteenth birthday. Depression had really hit him hard that year for some reason and heād started drinking fairly heavily. Heād sneak his dads liquor and down bottle after bottle. It had become a real problem and heād had to spend a few nights in the Emergency Room from alcohol poising on more than one occasion.Ā
Kyle quit the basketball team and focused all of his attention on Stan, trying to help him. But then Stan blamed himself for Kyle quitting the team and for his slipping grades. Heād wanted to get away from Kyle so as not toĀ ādamageā him anymore than he already had. Stan was being ridiculous of course. Kyle didnāt quit the basketball team just to look after Stan...heād wanted to do it. He felt in his heart that his best friend needed him and heād been right. What was a few Cās on a report card to him if it meant his the boy heād been head over heels for years was still with him?
Sharon looked as though she was about to open her mouth again to speak when the front door opened suddenly. Kyleās head snapped up to look at the person walking through the door.
( (Iām sorry it took so long to update guys ~ I got violently ill for a few days and wasnāt really able to do much of anything but sleep. Feeling much better now so hopefully I can get these updates out fairly regularly now. Iām also trying to do a drawing a week to go with an ask so send in asks to have a chance to get an art update! -- Mod Kyle ))
