I finished watching drew goodens new video and the last segment made me curious of the band, so I checked it out
Idk what I was expecting but they genuinely got good songs! This is the kind of music that blocks all the sounds and put me in a calm place. i think ill be listening to them on a daily basis now

the other day my mom told me that in her experience it is extremely rare for people to continue working at arduous art projects once they get employed. they just don't care enough about it to work overtime like that, and while rationally i didn't want to believe her, i've noticed such a profound lack of passion in the people around me that it got me pretty down, haha. we keep getting beaten into total disillusionment. even the privileged among us are too tired to do anything with themselves
i just hope to not just survive, but live through my 20s by trying to absorb the convictions of those like drew. i'm grateful that they bare their passions so i know what unadulterated form i want mine to take. let's all keep making and eating art forever— let it grow from our hands like hangnails. let it adorn us like split ends, flaking skin and belly fat. i love you all as you are.
