Took a chance today, applying to sell some of my art (prints, buttons, enamel pins, etc.) with a bookstore! I'm hella nervous but excited about the potential. And this weekend, I'll start applying again to artist alleys this year.
I've been trying to open an online art store for years now, and achieving that this year will depend on finances after I file taxes. Selling with other stores locally would be really neat!
No matter what happens, I'm going to keep searching for similar opportunities. Illustrating comics and dark fantasy prints is where I have the most fun, and I miss the face to face interactions of shows / events!
Artist alleys have become incredibly competitive to the point of impossibility over the last few years, but I don't want to give up before getting started.
