Liked the way his hair looked

Only “liked him” because he was vaguely connected to my hyperfixation at the time. Basically I would fantasize about doing things reminiscent of the hyperfixation, and him seeing me and thinking “wow this is kind of like (hyperfixation)”. (It’s hard to put into words, but it’s a “rotating it in my mind” type of thing where imagining people being reminded of the thing I’m fixated on becomes a way of engaging with it.) I realized much later that it literally wasn’t romantic at all - the only reason I thought of it as a “crush” was because “well, he’s a boy my age so it’s got to be a crush”.

Liked the way she looked + found her somewhat attractive + was getting comfortable with my bisexuality and decided I should try to date a girl ASAP because it would be cool to display my identity or something. I was not actually upset at all when I learned she was taken, which should’ve told me something.
