Do you sometimes wish there was a country specifically for AroAce people? Idk about you being being asexual in a sex-obsessed world is sometimes suffocating. The way everyone just assumes by default that you're into this stuff.
It's beyond suffocating at times.
Everything is hyper sexualized. Bodies are objects for desire and profit. The nuclear family is a societal checklist. And everyone think they know your mind, body, biology and soul better than you yourself do. And that's just the tip of the iceberg...
While a country for aroace specs sounds nice on paper, it falls apart immediately the more I think about it.
I could go into detail, but the nutshell version is that inclusion is better than seclusion. It'd be better if there were a societal shift toward mere acceptance of aro/ace identities.
It seems like wishful thinking, but it's far more obtainable and logical than dedicating a gatekept country to a specific minority.
