I don't feel like I've improved any more than when I started playing ARAMs. You get a random champion you may or amy not have ever played and you just go HAM against the other team. It's so different than Summoner's Rift. You can die 8 times and still be the best on the team in ARAM. What a legend...

I've had salty people laugh at me at results screen for having thousands of ARAM games, just above a hundred normals, and no Ranked. First off: I've mostly only played normals to get mastery tokens since the levels 6/7 came out. Second: I play ARAMs and rotating game modes as I find them more fun. Third: I haven't played ranked since I made my account years ago as I don't really find any use for the borders, while masteries you can at least flash as a joke when you do something stupid.

I used to be a hardcore League player, but recently I've only been playing the featured game modes and ARAMs. I get too worried about being flamed in solo queue that I haven't been able to play it at all in 2017. It makes me sad because I really enjoy and miss normals.
