I kicked ass this week at my new job! I am doing house calls as an NP. I think my partner is happy with my work. It’s more hours than I’d like, but hopefully I’ll get this charting crap mastered so I can spend less time on the computer! Still hanging onto my ER job just for the extra income, but I hope to be gone by Oct

Can someone explain to me why I went back to grad school.
I’m exhausted. My program isn’t even hard, it’s very manageable while working full time, but I just don’t want to do it anymore. I’m tired of writing papers on the same topics over and over again. Sick of reading research articles.Â
I feel like I need the world’s longest nap.Â
Attention all MDs, RNs, APRNs, and whoever else is qualified to sign/write on a death certificate:
PLEASE for the love of God, stop writing in information where you aren’t supposed to. Stop making me have to cross out half of the paperwork because you don’t know the decedent’s full name. There’s a spot for you on the left hand side to write that in. Not at the top.
For “County of Death” stop putting “USA” you’re a doctor for Christ’s sake. Take a second to read.
Cardiac Arrest, Respiratory Arrest, and Ventriculr Fibrilation are NOT causes of death. You need to add in some type of etiology. Don’t tell me the 90 year old lady who smoked 2 packs a day had no medical history that you can add in. I will call the Medical Examiner’s office and if that doesn’t work, I will call the Health Department and you will be fined.

I think I’ve spent so long being sad how my marriage eroded that I’m not sad anymore and just want the divorce proceedings over with. Though I’m pretty ticked off he has concerns about my parenting but I’m unable to find out what those concerns are until my next meeting with my lawyer. She didn’t say when that is.
And this is why we’re getting divorced- he couldn’t talk to me and I eventually gave up trying to talk to him because I would always be attacked or gaslit. Or told I was retarded.
Probably going to get a divorce.
This is the second time he’s driven drunk with our 2 year old daughter & I now have proof.
One of his sisters knows about his out of control drinking now.
