imagine giving Loki a present handmade by yourself, thinking that he would appreciate a good handicraft.
But when you give it to him, he is stone-faced. Thinking that he didn’t want it but was trying to think of a way to nicely reject you, you hurriedly take the gift away from his hands, apologise, and try to leave out of embarrassment.
Loki quickly stops you from leaving, questioning why you are apologising and taking the gift away. Wasn’t it for him?
You blush and nod, saying it was indeed for him, but he hadn’t reacted, so you thought it wasn’t to his liking. Loki then smiles softly and says that he was definitely happy. it had been so long since he last received a gift, and one that was handmade specially for him, he had only ever received them from Frigga, his dear mother.
