Do you have any headcanons for Apara? he doesn't get much love when compared to the other Dream Weavers, but I think he's neat.
He is a neat noodle dragon with a cool horn design, so I will gladly give him something:
- Apara could be described as an extremely skittish dragon. Always hyperaware of his surroundings and worries way too much about literally everything. Very adverse to touching, yet he years for a hug once in a while when he gets stressed out. He gets overwhelmed easily in new situations and he's not very well versed on how to socialize with dragons that are from outside his clan, so he has very few friends and even lesser acquaintances. He can be a bit of a crybaby when has has to do things that are outside of his comfort zone, but he'll still finish the task since he hates way more the thought of potentially disappointing someone. He constantly toes the line between both being a huge scaredy cat that can get spooked by his own shadow and a Weaver with a big heart that will keep you safe when traversing the caves. At least he can flaunt the fact that he has very good reflexes and reaction times when dangers are around.
- Has a chronic case of 'Always Having Bad Posture™'. Walking through low ceiling tunnels definitely doesn't help, which in turn leads to him having a constant sore neck and a badly aching back. He has tried many things, from stretching exercises to correcting his posture when he can, but the problem persists. He's a frequent student of Useni's yoga lesson because of this, and the two of them can be very much considered good friends.
- The lamp is his most valued treasure. He had it ever since he was a hatchling, and now, he cannot go anywhere without it. Because despite living in the darkest realm of the Dream Weavers, he has a serious phobia of the dark. Yet he braves the darkness daily because someone has to do the important job of keeping a vigilant eye on the roads that pass through the caves, in case anyone gets lost or the path is blocked. He knows the layout like the back of his hand, without needing a map or compass, and he can fit through the most cramp of spaces thanks to his noodle shaped body. As long as his lamp shines, he will keep going, even if he's trembling like a leaf while doing so. He also uses it as a night light to sleep.
- He has a thing for jewelry. He has a vast collection of necklaces, with matching bracelets, and has recently picked up on the hobby of making his own jewels. For materials he uses the crystals that grow around Dark Passage, and different colors can have their own magical properties. Some can help with sleeping, others can have a calming effect on a troubled soul, keep at bay malicious spirit or there's even a couple than can allegedly make your scales have a healthy glow. He doesn't sell them, but there have been cases where he has offered a couple of these precious stones to those who need it.
