Hi I'm a sophomore and I was considering to take AP Biology for my junior year. Do you have any like tips or suggestions or anything I should if I will be taking AP Biology? Thanks!
I haven’t ever taken AP Bio but know people who have and they say it’s a super intensive course that has a heavy workload and involves LOTS of memorization! I’d say if you excel in science and like science, then take it! If within the first week to two weeks of school you think it’s too much then transfer into a different science course!!

is microeconomics hard to self study
I'M SO ANGRY SO MY FUCKIN AP ENGLISH CLASS GRADE WAS 30% THIS PROJECT AND THE INSTRUCTIONS WERE SO VAGUE AND I GOT A 62 LIKE I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT 'A STATEMENT COMPARING UNITY AND DISSENT ' WOULD CONSIST OF THAT WOULD BE WORTH 40/100 POINTS?? PLUS THIS ONLY APPEARED ON THE RUBRIC I GOT ONCE IT WAS GRADED, NOT THE INFORMATION SHEET WHICH HAD REQUIREMENTS?? LOL. Now my parents are threatening to make me drop the course that I PAID FOR.
Everyone always says they hate school and their school is the worst and yada yada. Here's why my school district is shit:
-They changed the grading scale. it used to be like this:
90-100=A/A+
80-89=B
70-79=C
60-69=D
59 or below=E
I already had shit about them calling it E instead of F because they didn't want it to sound harsh. whatever. but now our grading scale is like this:
5=A+
4=A
3=B
2=C
1=D
0=E
Big whoop right? same basics that such percentage is such number which is such letter?
BUT WAIT
THERE'S MORE
No matter if you did the assignment or not
No matter if you cheated on the test or not
No matter if you literally did not come to class once
On every assignment, quiz, test, project, the lowest possible grade is a 50%. You can still pass on that. That means that if you're in all AP or Honors courses, you lose a ton of your edge when you apply for college. A TON. You work hard everyday to get 95% always and then someone doesn't even do the assignments and gets MORE THAN HALF of your grade. by doing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. make sure this doesn't happen to you.
