it pisses me off SO bad how transphobes have so effectively used sports to launder transphobia and misogyny to people. like does nobody remember like ~5-10 years ago when it was a MAJOR feminist talking point to argue for desegregating sports and going by skill level instead of gender separation??? and now, because so many cis people hate trans people so violently and think we should be excluded from all aspects of public life, you’ve got a whole bunch of women who call themselves feminists laundering misogynistic talking points about how “women are just inherently weaker and worse at athletics than men :(( it’s just biology and women are inherently inferior :(( this is definitely not misogyny that’s unsupported by science, women are just weaker and worse at things :((“ like girl open your ears and listen to what you’re saying!!

i did not realize this was a large discussion but i’ve been advocating for skill/size instead of gender for years and people act like i’m crazy for it

so when Spider-man crawls up and down walls like a bug people praise him and call him a superhero, but when I, Count Dracula,

still fucks me up what a bad rap coyotes get in peoples eyes. like ive talked to people who  see em as like. gross pests who should be culled. theyre literally just as cool as wolves just a lil smaller and less confident. i love them with all my heart to balance out all the coyote haters out there, coyotes rule theyre doing great

i made a drinking game out of calculus homework and so far it’s really helped to make sure i really pay attention as much as possible when i take notes

so basically if it’s work i’m struggling with, i’ll use a weaker alcohol but i’ll use stronger drinks the more confident i am with the topic. the rules are that i start on the homework and every time i have to refer back to my notes or have to look up how to do something in any way, i take a shot (after looking over the notes). the work gets more difficult as i drink more and nothing bothers me more than struggling with math (because most of my life it’s been one of the few things i’m really successful with) so i’m incentivized to look back at my notes as little as possible. i do allow myself to check though, but only once i’ve finished the work

every time a superhero tries to pull moral high ground above ANYONE using law or legality or any law enforcement agency i get so mad like SO mad. realistically there is nothing separating you from these people on a legal standpoint. you HAVE to recognize that crime is a social construct (but hurting people—and helping them—is not) in order to be a compelling superhero writer IMO. instead they write weird shit like “if you have an FBI file on you you’re a bad person” as if any well known LITERAL VIGILANTE wouldn’t realistically have their own FBI file a mile long

The real reason superheroes have to keep their identity a secret is so they don’t get arrested
