So I just got a letter from the court denying me a public defender because according to them, the legal consequences of me losing the case aren't egregious enough to warrant one. Except my life will be forever destroyed by the trauma if I have to suffer through 90 days in jail after I already have severe captivity PTSD from 3 days in an Istanbul jail and 19 days at a Belgian psych ward. I will also lose my mum and my pets because guess who's taking care of all of them HAHA ME. Of course my art business is also going to die from 3 months of 0 updates or events. So my whole life is over if I'm convicted. It's already stressing me out.
But hey, none of that warrants giving me a fucking lawyer. I'm broke and unemployed, so I guess fair trials are for rich people only. And yeah totally proportionate punishment for hurting a man's feelings. Did I mention he worked for German Railways and part of his revenge was giving me an incorrect itinerary as one part of his revenge that sent me on a 7 hour criss-cross trip for a 130 km journey?
Oh quick reminder, I'm being sued for insults I didn't utter. I called a non-Jewish white German man a Jew hater, and he got so mad he claimed I called him a Jew PIG instead, and his "witnesses" are lower-ranking colleagues who are obviously gonna say whatever he tells them to.
The court date is August 27 of this year. Lucky date because my first puppy and my first cat both died on that day in consecutive years. Yeah I'm fucked.
