God I fucking love when my stuff doesnât show up...
Iâve given up trying to figure out how they index tags. Itâs almost as bad as doing a tag search for Jenna on Instagram and instead getting pictures of wildlife and Patrick Troughton, both of which have happened to me.
People on Instagram tag their shit with all the shit vaguely related to it, because, as I last recall, Instagram lets you do 50 tags that âcountâ. Tumblrâs is 5. I need those 5 to all work, or else I get these stupid situations where my recent drawing has butt for notes because it isnât showing up in searches and Iâm really fucking pissed off at lackluster response to things (which is nothing new).
So I never go looking for things on Instagram because if I look for, say, 12th Doctor, Iâm going to get results for all the Doctors, all the actors, any person who had a guest appearance on the show, anything sci-fi, any show from the BBC, and anything Scottish. Itâs the equivalent of putting garbage keywords in an article for SEO and I absolutely hate it about Instagram accounts who do not create content but instead repost videos, edits, photos, and artwork.
I have a rather anemic Instagram for being someone who only posts my own artwork to it, but I also donât abuse the tagging system, so what am I gonna do.

Asking a quick question on behalf of a number of fans: are you able to tell us when and where Jenna's scene was filmed? There's some debate over whether it was filmed while she was working on Victoria, some time later, and whether she came down to Cardiff or if it was shot elsewhere (being green screen you could have filmed it anywhere, of course). Thanks!
We filmed on the roof at the BBC offices in London (in July, if i remember correctly) on a weekend during Victoria shoot. We recorded the sound in the Top Gear Offices.Â
If you shipped Whouffle did you go on to ship Whouffaldi or did your ship die with 11â˛s regeneration?

tbh my ship startet with 11âs regeneration⌠Donât get me wrong, I loved Clara with 11, but it was so easy and they talked a lot. What really got me was Claraâs struggle to accept the Doctorâs new face, how she was finally able to *see* him and all the unspoken love. Two different relationships im my opinion, I prefered the latter:)

Whouffle was a very cute relationship. Clara came to Eleven the moment he needed her the most and gave him new energy and will for adventure. That said. It does not compare to Whouffaldi. The moment Twelve said ''please, just see me'' i was destroyed for life, haven't been the same since.

I lowkey shipped Whouffle. But it was more like a âaww, theyâre cute togetherâ or âthat is so not a platonic relationshipâ. When I saw the first filming pictures from Depp Breath, however, I went full Titanic and knew Iâd sell my soul to see a kiss happen.

I shipped Whouffle but I donât recall that I did so intensely; in fact I thought the better match was Eleven and Clara OSWIN Oswald from The Snowmen. However I was fully invested in it, especially from The Crimson Horror (âboop!â) onwards.
When Deep Breath came along I was worried theyâd scale it back because of ageism attitudes that were being expressed in fandom and in the media after Capaldi was cast. And then there was PCapâs own alleged âthereâll be no romanceâ comment (I say âallegedâ because Iâve heard tell that was overplayed and I only recently discovered that he was calling Twelve-Clara a romance in interviews as early as the 2014 World Tour). So I had somewhat saddened ⌠until I realized that Doctor Rule No. 1 was in full effect in the final scene with the âIâm not your boyfriendâ bit - which at the same time, though, confirmed in canon that Eleven did have those feelings for Clara.
Needless to say, I did NOT like the introduction of Danny Pink and if it wasnât for the fact I thought Into the Dalek was a cool concept and Listen became, for a time, the best Doctor Who episode of all time in my estimation, I might have turned a bit against S9. But then came Mummy on the Orient Express and the penny dropped and I was away at the races again. But I didnât become truly intensely Whouffaldi until I got hit with a one-two-three punch at the end of 2014-early 2015: Jenna confirming that Claraâs âI love youâ in Mummy was meant for the Doctor; her Doctor Who Magazine cover story (âClaraâs heart belongs to the Doctorâ) and Last Christmas. After that, it was full speed ahead. And it reached its zenith with the Raven Trilogy.

I thought Eleven and Clara made a cute couple but Matt just didnât interest me. Twelve did. It took a while to realize that Whouffaldi was a legitimate concept; I think it was Dark Water that finally sold me.

Different Case, same Software - like, to begin with my view is that the Doctorâs basically essentially the same person throughout his many forms. Also, consistency - I mean when a new Companion is first introduced I donât particularly care whether or not theyâll get love interestey I just want a good story, but it would just have been inconsistent if 10 & Rose continued right where they left off but the rules were somehow different now, especially with the whole situation in âDeep Breathâ.

I thought itâd end with his regeneration and then the restaurant scene in Deep Breath made me realise that he was the same man and that only their relationship has slightly changed, being a little bit bumpier for now on⌠i see this scene like the end of their honeymoon, if i can say it like that! Thank you for doing screencaptures of the "missing the croft" scene in 2x07, which is not in the ITV/DVD version. Is it possible to do one of the great scene between Victoria and Lehzen at the end of the same episode, where they look at Victoria's old drawings and Victoria comforts her? This was also PBS-exclusive. Thanks!
