So, I'm not a formal conversion student yet, just prospective, but I've been studying with an observant Jewish friend of mine (she's giving me resources to read and she answers questions I have and is trying to teach me the shema, but it feels weird to practice it bc im not with a Rabbi's guidance but). I usually stay quiet and break things. One time, I was walking with a friend and he said something that pissed me off, and I didn’t want to fight with him so I ended up breaking a tree branch. It was weird, as I forgot to let go of said tree branch when I got to my next class and I suffered nothing but embarrassment when my classmates saw me.
