Gilbert and his place in the conductor's family fascinates me. This is a kid way more mature than most kids his age, taking special courses and going to advanced schools to advance his freaking career at a young age, and overall acting more like a teacher himself than a kid. And we do see him act like a kid, but not as often as he charging through his mission of being a conductor just like his uncle and grandmother before him... He's a Gifted Child in a family tree of important adventurers and figureheads. How much stress must living in that shadow be for a little boy? And also, I love Linkin Park's From Zero lol.
