Angelman syndrome flag!

I could’t find any, so i made one myself!

For those who do not know, angelman syndrome is a physical and intellectual disability known for a constant display of happiness and laughing, with some of the symptoms being minimal speech, not being able to walk, and nor being able to move very well or at all.

nurse man and bird man :]!!!! they’re both pretty simple concepts and they’re rough ideas for my megaman horror-ish concept!!!

nurse is a pretty chill going guy, he’s polite and is one of the first bots to work in a hospital!!!! he’s a first responder and mostly works as an assistant. his “hair” is made out of the same metal alloy that yellow devil is made out of! it’s used to carry multiple patients at once, but should ALWAYS be kept away from open wounds and blood. he can manipulate it freely. he only wishes the best for humans and is best friends with another human nurse in the hospital he works at!!

bird is a mass produced model and mostly used for a number of things! transportation, surveillance, and more!! this particular bird man though never speaks (communicates through morse) and is polite as well, they communicate through their big gestures and they want to be a real bird and have real feathers! they also have an interest in angels and their beauty

It was definitely an incredible experience to watch it in a cinema for the first time.

I have two: one has a rough draft over at my writing blog @i-am-verdant under the title “Angelman”, and is about an ex-felon leaving prison to discover the existence of superheroes that have appeared since he was put away.

The second is called “What the Butler Did” and is my dream DC Elseworld; it focuses on a young Alfred, who decides to fight crime in Gotham to protect the recently-orphaned Bruce Wayne. Alfred styles himself as the swashbuckling “Bat-Man”, using equipment salvaged from his old army days and styled with Thomas Wayne’s old masquerade costume. Here’s my design for him! Apologies for the rough proportions.

Gumdrop Day -  Gumdrops are a tasty, colorful, chewy candy that is made with gelatin and then coated with sugar.  They come in a variety of flavors and can either be fruity or spicy.  These little candy treats make terrific embellishments for decorating gingerbread houses and other baked goods.

International Angelman Day - Angelman syndrome affects 1 in 12,000 to 20,000 people around the world. This rare disease occurs when the UBE3A gene in the 15th chromosome loses function. Most diagnoses occur between the ages of 6 to 12 months. It’s during these ages the symptoms become most noticeable. Common symptoms of Angelman syndrome include: Delay in developmental milestones, Limited speech, Unprovoked laughter and smiling, Hyperactivity, Short attention span, Trouble sleeping or needing less sleep, Limited mobility. These symptoms vary from child to child. Some children with Angelman syndrome have seizures, while others have decreased muscle tone or exaggerated reflex responses. Additionally, many babies experience feeding problems and swallowing difficulties. The symptoms are similar to cerebral palsy, autism, and Prader-Willi syndrome. Due to these similarities, many children with Angelman Syndrome often receive a misdiagnosis. Some symptoms of Angelman syndrome improve as one gets older. However, those with this rare disease need life-long care.

International Childhood Cancer Day -  According to the World Health Organization (WHO), 300,000 children between the ages of 0 and 19 are diagnosed with cancer each year. Every three minutes, a child dies of cancer.

Nirvana Day - The event, also known as Parinirvana Day, commemorates Buddha’s death and his entrance into complete Nirvana. Some people mistakenly think that the historical Buddha was a god. However, he was an ordinary person named Siddhartha Gautama. Buddha was actually his title. The word “buddha” means “a person who is awake.” The Buddha is believed to have been born in 567 BC in Nepal. As the son of a king, he was called Prince Siddhartha. He was 29 years old when he encountered his first sick person, old man, and then a corpse. He realized that even though he was royalty, he too, would one day die. To prepare for this day, he went on a spiritual quest. During this time, he renounced his worldly life. Eventually, he discovered that meditation was the only path to a peaceful existence. One day, he sat in meditation beneath a ficus tree until he realized enlightenment. From that time on, he became known as The Buddha. He spent the rest of his life teaching others how to realize enlightenment for themselves. This enlightenment focuses on four noble truths: Life involves suffering, Having desires causes suffering, Overcoming desires can end suffering, Following the Eightfold Path, which is represented by a wheel, can also end suffering. When enlightenment is realized, it is called partial nirvana. Complete or final nirvana is achieved only in death. This is when all want and suffering is gone. The Buddha died at the age of 80. After his death, his disciples established schools in his name.

Singles Awareness Day -  There are several benefits to being unattached. Singles can come and go as they please with no regard to a partner’s schedule, wants or needs. Career opportunity?  A single doesn’t need to consult a spouse before accepting an offer. It’s also easier for a single to keep up healthy habits. There isn’t anyone to sabotage their efforts to work out and eat healthily. Singles also tend to be more self-reliant and involved in their communities.
