Like five different nurses did set-up one after another, they all had really pretty nails, one was from New Jersey but when I said Virginian weather is like Satan's armpit she said "in NJ that's Newark, or we're like Satan's butthole", when they were carting me to operating room a nurse accidentally misgendered me but my lovely darling partner immediately went "he, he/him, that's why we're here after all", I almost fainted because I'd never had a needle and IV line in my hand but the New Jersean nurse did a fabulous job of helping me calm down, my surgeon charted out the perfect chest and already had what I asked for in mind, 10/10 experience even with the pain and discomfort and such
