THIS IS NOT A DRILL ANDREW GARFIELD IMPROVISED THE I LOVE YOU LINE IM THROWING UP, CRYING, SCREAMING RNN
Andrew Garfield needs to star in an Anthony Perkins biopic
Here’s my apparently controversial opinion on the Spider-Man situation:
Personally I think this is a horrible thing to happen because I don’t trust Sony with him whatsoever.
Some people are saying that Tom Holland’s Spider-Man became a trust fund kid and the next Tony and I don’t see that as a necessarily bad thing.
Could they have done it a bit better? Yeah possibly. But look how successful Homecoming was. And Marvel did so much more with him than Sony had which I am so thankful for.
I grew up with both Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire and despite them having such a nostalgic feel I can’t help but feel that they weren’t as good as they could be.
Another argument I’m seeing is that Sony did well with Spiderverse and yeah, they did. But it wasn’t the same situation.
I’m just overall unhappy with what’s going on and I feel that Sony is just going to either take him and ruin him or they’re just gonna stick him back on a shelf for another decade.
Again this is all my opinion and I know people won’t agree so if you don’t, that’s your opinion.
