I’ve been plugging away at chapter 12 of Nug E Cheese, also known as the crow academy invasion lol. I’d say I’m about halfway maybe. I’m having so much fun and cackling to myself constantly while writing it. I just hope everyone else has as much fun with it as I have. But here’s a little peek because I can’t help myself, it’s killing me not to share.
Neve glanced over her list one final time, making sure she didn't leave anything out. She took a deep breath and squared her shoulders. "Okay everyone, I think we're as ready as we can be. They'll be arriving in about an hour. Good luck, and wear your headset," she repeated, just for good measure.
"Is all of this really necessary?" Asked Lucanis. Everyone else nodded enthusiastically.
"It's a truth universally acknowledged that the kids that have to be the most straightlaced at school get the most wild on field trips," explained Harding.
"The last time we had a group from a private school, we had to close for a week afterwards for repairs," said Bellara, eyes wide.
"Repairs? For what?"
"Kitchen fire," said Taash.
Lucanis sputtered. "But how?"
"You don't wanna know," said Taash.
"Just do your best to keep them in the arcade and seating areas," said Neve.
"Meirda."

Gemma de Riva looked into the mirror. She was wearing perfectly pressed dress pants and a blazer to match. She tugged on the bottom of the blazer, straightening it out. On her feet were sensible flats and not a blonde hair was out of place.
She went over the roster of 21 children for what must have been the 100th time. They were the 6-7 year old age group. Most were excellent students. Nearly all had clean school records. Nearly. Gemma took another deep breath in and out. She hoped that the Nug E Cheese employees were ready for them.
Will the Crows top the last private school group? With 21 crow kids set loose on the store, who will be left standing? Let’s hope the animatronics at least are okay, Bellara works really hard on those!
