Griffin: While you did that, very discreetly, this giant giant razor-sharp crystal monster is just kind of eyeing the three of you over. Standing still for the time being.

Taako: Hail and well met!

[laughter]Travis: [crosstalk] Lead[?] me to it.Griffin: It turns its head.Clint: [imitates Taako] Yoinks, and away!

Taako: My name is Taako, and you look like you’re made of salt.

Griffin: It flies at you, Taako, and puts its head just like, inches away from your own. And gets real real close.Travis: Don’t mention alt-say! [that is, salt, in Pig Latin]

Taako: Little hard of hearing, huh? Well, that’s okay, come on in. We’re, uh, adventurers.

Justin: I don’t sound like this! I don’t know–Griffin: No, that’s pretty– I don’t think it’s that bad.Justin: It’s not bad.Clint: [crosstalk] That was pretty good Taako.Justin: That was pretty close.Clint: Yeah!

Taako: Uhhh, where’s the interior? Hey! Hey, salt!

Griffin: It backs away from you, Taako. It sort of moves backward.

Oh man, I feel you! What a good question! Well, I don’t read as many comics and stuff as I used to (and it’s mostly been webcomics), but here are some I know of. I would really like to hear about more, too, so I invite others to reblog with additional recommendations.

WEBCOMICS:

Go Get a Roomie! (sometimes NSFW) is a fun, funny ongoing strip with a female pansexual/omnisexual main character.

The Less Than Epic Adventures of TJ and Amal (sometimes NSFW) has a pan or bi main character (I can’t remember if it’s ever labeled) in a romance between two men. The characters are incredibly well-crafted.

Oglaf (almost always NSFW!) is a really funny “sex comedy” comic set in a fantasy world and depicts all kinds of sexual proclivities and relationships.

Anything on Discord Comics - Shades of A has an asexual main character, in specific. But the same artist has done stuff with a bunch of different sexuality and gender representation.

ignition Zero I haven’t read but I know it has both pansexual and asexual representation as well as different gender identities! It’s a SF/F thing and it looks nice, I might give it a read now…

Supernormal Step has an asexual main female character. Again, I haven’t read it, but it also looks good.

Homestuck I’m certain you’ll have heard of, but it has a bunch of bisexual/arguably pansexual characters and a few that seem to be hinted as asexual or aromantic. I’m not sure if such a mammoth series is worth mentioning for such hints…but there you go haha.

OTHER COMICS:

The Wicked + The Divine I’m told has a pan or bi character or two.

Constantine is confirmed bisexual.

Deadpool is confirmed pansexual.

That’s all I can think of there, I don’t actually read very many print comics I’m afraid! (In fact I don’t read any of the three I just named, haha whoops.) I mean, I think Tintin is probably asexual……..but that’s totally conjecture haha.

NOVELS:

The Inheritance Trilogy by N. K. Jemisin (Not to be confused with The Inheritance Cycle by Christopher Paolini…) has a pansexual god character.

The Dreamblood Duology, also by Jemisin, has an asexual assassin.

Imajica by Clive Barker has Pie’oh’Pah, a pan/bisexual nonbinary shapeshifter.

Realms of the Elderlings by Robin Hobb (a story universe consisting of various trilogies) has a major nonbinary, pansexual character who appears inmost of the books, but whom I won’t name, for non-spoilery purposes. ;)

I hope I’ve given you something new to peruse there and I hope you enjoy! I agree that there needs to be more pansexual and asexual representation, among other things, and these characters really ought to be unambiguously confirmed as such. I’m excited to hear that you’re writing something! I’d love to see how that goes!

A diferència de Naegleria, de la que ja vaig parlar, Acanthamoeba només té dos estadis: Cist i trofozoït ameboide. No existeix el trofozoït ameboide.

Cist

El cist tenen un diàmetre de 10-25 µm i dos parets, l'exocist (la paret exterior) i l'endocist (l'interior). El cist té un nucli amb un gran cariosoma. 

Aquest gènere es caracteritza perquè té dos tipus de trofozoïts a part del cist.

Trofozoïts ameboides

Es caracteritzen per què el nucli és més petit que el de les acantamebes i té un endosoma sense cromatina. A més, al pol més ample, tenen un lòbul pseudopòdic hialí. Gràcies a aquest tenen una gran mobilitat tant a l'aigua com al líquid cefaloraquidi dels humans.
