DCAA Diana isn't too bad on her own, but the way they treated her lore? Yikes. They barely even went into her daily life. If you're going to have a Diana who's exiled from Themyscira, the easiest arc is to show her and give her an arc about making a new life for herself as just Diana or Diana Prince. That would've been awesome. Show me her moving into an apartment and trying to figure out how to fill it.
But, no. And don't even get me started on The Amazons. They don't get any of their utopic feminist society, all we see is warrior stuff, we barely get a look in on why they're isolated, and People (Ahem, Flash) keep making the obvious joke of 'An island full of woman? Whoa mama!" And I despise it. This was ground zero for a lot of misinformed WW takes, and for that, it's a shame.
Is there a canon comic that links WW Historia with the lore of the Well of Souls idk but if not I will say that I do love the idea of the Amazons getting together to continue their purpose while in isolation, as is the burden of Hyppolita's legacy, and through working of great magic and overtime, the amazons, throughout the power bestowed upon the members of the first six tribes but also the grit and will of the members of the seventh tribe, building the well of sin- so that if they may not, as Hera predicted, see the victory of their missions in a thousand of years, at least in the meantime they may carry on their purpose of welcoming the wronged women, if not in life, then after their death.

Imagine Age Regression as a form of emotional release being a natural and accepted part of Amazon culture, as the well of souls reincarnates the souls of women (and probably even girl children) who were slain at the hands of men, so being able to be taken care of is a welcome way to acclimate them.
