Pain meds are cool for real but also if you're not careful you will be dizzy at 3:30 pm on a heatwave day at the hairdresser's and suddenly realised you haven't eaten or drunk anything since yesterday 5 am and will have to stumble home through the first stages of heatstroke because your body kinda decided to shut off all your signals for 24 hours and not just the ones about pain

Fun fact: dance practice when you have joint pain is not a good idea. Yes, even when it feels like the pain is not that bad (that's the tylenol talking). Yes, even and especially if you think it's urgent to practical because the show is next saturday. It doesn't actually matter if you feel the pain or not if your body physically can't do the move because the joint is stiff. Pain even mild is a warning sign of your body not working great and ignoring that warning just because it's mild will lead to your body working even less great. This is a whole new scientific fact that I am discovering here and that could not have been deducted from any kind of previous research so everybody should thank me really

It's really interesting like. When I feel that someone loves me I'm a demigod. When I don't feel like anyone loves me I'm lower than dirt. I don't want to say addicting cause I don't want to water down the term but I'm not really sure how else to describe how it feels when I think someone loves me. And the on/off-switch is extremely sensitive to any situation even minor. It feels logical to conclude that I should work on getting the switch to be less sensitive and more stable, but I feel like if I jammed the spring inside of the switch to be less reactive then the lows would be highe and the highs would be lower, which would be good for not causing my own death but obviously I don't want to do that because I don't want to let go of the euphoria of the highs. So I keep trying to get the switch jammed on the high position with an elastic band and every time gravity eventually wears it out and pulls the switch down and the rubber band snaps. And the question is what happens when I'm all out of rubber bands.

Anyone else bargaining with their own mental health like "if I quit drinking i get to pick that coping mechanism back up and also that one" doing coping math
