I've seen a bit of "Grace's ghost haunting Stratt on Earth".

But what if, shortly after the Hail Mary launch, Stratt's grip on the world faltered without having the necessity of Project Hail Mary to justify her actions and authority? What if she was pressured into stepping back her personal security measures, and then someone managed to get at her and assassinate her?

And after she died -- she'd given her heart and the work of her hands over to humanity, to Earth's future. But her heart was now still in her chest, her hands quiet and motionless. With her death, there was nothing left on Earth that Eva Stratt could do to make a difference.

-Oohhh I love a one bed trope—either platonically or romantically (but I ike both those set ups to be a bit different tho) -hurt/comfort  <333 bc I live for angst  -I love an enemies to friends to lovers. Just adore watching two people’s relationships grow and change thorough years, slowly coming to see eye to eye, forming an unbreakable bond and falling in love. But theres always that teasing nagging way they pick on each other present —So also love a slow burn !   -Also have recently been very into historical aus! Its so much fun to research and the possibilities and different periods are endless!

Oh god there are so many to pick from, published and unpublished. I loveeee angst, and making myself cry ahah  Most recently I’ve been working on something w my oc—not sure if it’ll make it in the long fic or not but its about how she deals with the concept of motherhood and failures and the lingering loss of war/shinobi life.

Supergirl Leverage AU.

Cat is the mastermind. A little bit jaded. Knows a little about everything and everyone, and has contacts where no one would expect.

Kara is the grifter. No one thinks she can do it because she's so sunshiny and awkward, except then she's got a countless number of languages and dialects going on and her posture shifts and no one can quite seem to say no to her.

Alex is the thief. She's good at being inconspicuous and totally down to jump from the top of a skyscraper as needed. She's also small and strong enough to be wiggling around vents no problem. Will delightedly tase someone if they're being an ass. You'll see why she's not the primary hitter further down.

Winn is the hacker because that's literally already his job. I'm tempted to give the job to Lena since it's au and doesn't have the bs attached to her that the show does and I have an easier time with the idea of potentially creating the Ot3 sitch from Leverage with her than I ever would with Winn. Also she has more natural charisma than Winn without sacrificing the nerdiness which is pretty central to the role, but then again Winn has the popculture and jokes already baked in. Idk its a coin toss.

Astra is the Hitter. Woman has skeletons in closets around the world, but never wanted it to be that way. She needs a place to save her from the dark, and having people to protect who care about her just as much is exactly what she's been missing.

Lois is the Stirling to Cat's Nate. Or maybe Lillian? Tbh they both make good contenders for her Maggie as well but...

I might go with Olivia for the ex wife... Or Lois if I give the nemisis spot to Lillian... Obviously these last two roles haven't had as much thought go into them.

Vasquez or maybe Lucy would both make a great Peggy to Alex's Parker...

Nia and Brainy are the loveable but not particularly talented government agents who get surprise promotions whenever the crew inadvertently (and sometimes purposely) drop their marks in their laps.

J'onn was Alex's thief mentor, but a better father figure than Archie was to Parker.

eventually they come across victor, who's been holed up in his apartment for the last several months, but as his supplies were almost out he had to acquire a car and go on the move. said car has just broken down on the side of the road. so, when ben and reed find him, they offer him a deal: ben fixes the car, and they get to travel together for a while. victor’s not enthused about sharing the end of the world with actual other people, but he knows he won’t get anywhere on foot and alone, so he agrees.

thus the great road trip begins. reed keeps trying to make friends but victor is just Not Having It, and ben is driving and trying not to feel threatened by this shiny new stranger. still, they all have different strengths re: zombie killing, so things go pretty smoothly for a while

and then they run across some other survivors for the first time. johnny tearfully explains that his sister’s been infected, but he can’t bring himself to kill her, and so he doesn’t know what to do. of course the trio, being varying degrees of Moved by their plight, offers to help

ten minutes later they’re all left watching as sue and johnny drive off in victor’s car after shaking them down at gunpoint. not even the apocalypse can keep a good sibling team down
