What if a human journalist kept a field journal while exploring an alien civilization?
This account will explore the Thousand Year War, the civilizations caught in it, and the technologies that they use to wage the war.
If you enjoy immersive worldbuilding, science fiction, science fantasy, alien civilizations, and stories that take you on a journey through civilizations…
I welcome you along for the ride. Just because you’re on Earth doesn’t mean the Thousand Year War won’t find us here.
And if you pay very close attention, you may just discover who’s been dropping you notes all along once the novel is released.
Entry 001 starts now. Welcome to the Field Journal.
So.... for those that have followed me across my fandom journeys and the chaos that is my immediate obsession, I'd love to invite you along for this one.
I'm writing a novel called Echoes of Eden.
It's a sci-fi fantasy that follows my protagonist Cassimir after the murder of his uncle and mentor (and the nine leaders of his home world). It's a revenge story that grows so much larger than he could ever anticipate, digging into grief, war, and fight for those they love.
This little @exploreechoesofeden blog will take you through Cassimir's home world of Sirona, the culture, and the technology, all through the eyes of a human journalist. Eventually, it'll also branch out into Sirona's sister/enemy planet of Abrexeous-Tor, exploring the Thousand Year War that they've been waging against each other and how it's affecting the surrounding star system and everyone involved.
I've spent an exciting amount of time worldbuilding for this and I'm digging into the writing of the novel now. For those of you that remember my crazy-consistent fanfiction posting schedule back in the day, buckle up. The Field Journal project that will explore the Echoes of Eden will be posting on a bi-weekly basis.
