Stupid freaking art dump

Slowly working my way through them so here's Bloom's Full body (well, mostly full body) for her Resonix design.

Regarding her weapon choice, I really didn't know what else to give her outside of an even bigger sword.

Initially hers was just a regular sword then remembered the context as to which she gets the sword so I changed it to look more like the Specialists' Weapons. I'll probably do a before and after of each weapon since they all change upon each girl gaining her Resonix.

And so, here is my thought process:

There’s a difference between a character who wasn’t introduced as queer until later in the show. Does that mean their current actor should be replaced?

Also:

Isn’t the entire point of acting to act like another person? I personally believe that if the actor genuinely cares and educates themselves, they should be able to play said character.

I also had another thought: what about genderfluid characters? More specifically, genderfluid shapeshifters(no, not all shapeshifters are genderfluid. Pretty sure there’s a post somewhere about that too). Think about say, in the case of Loki. Loki, in the comics, is portrayed as genderfluid in the Agent of Asgard run and the newer run(which I can’t remember the name of for the life of me). Loki is shown to shift themself into whatever gender they’re feeling. Now, in the case of this actually being portrayed(we don’t talk about the series. Wtf was that. It didn’t even show anything but a flash of a paper with sex-fluid which is more about Loki being a shapeshifter) should the actor be genderfluid? After all, for about 2011-2013, we were given a positively fantastic portrayal of Loki by Tom Hiddleston. And for genderfluid shapeshifters, the usual consensus is that they would completely change their bodies to what is considered male or female at birth, so should Loki be played by cis actors or trans actors, or would it really matter? Also, as a genderfluid person, there is no monolith of being genderfluid. Some genderfluid people experience gender dysphoria. Some don’t. Some change their names when the shift genders. Others don’t. Some will change their clothing to match whatever gender they’re feeling. Some don’t. And another big thing: we don’t actually know for sure whether or not someone identifies as trans unless they tell you. Some people aren’t ready to come out of the closet yet. Some might not be ready for the backlash they may receive. But either way, you can’t really tell just by looking at someone whether or not they’re trans.
