Alraun, älteste der Rabengeschwister. "Die Alraunen (Mandragora) sind eine Pflanzengattung in der Familie der Nachtschattengewächse (Solanaceae)" Die Rabengeschwister haben nach einer etwas schwierigen Kindheit ihr VermÜgen und KÜnnen darauf verwendet, wie die Gebrßder Grimm, durch die Landen zu ziehen und Geschichten, Mären, Märchen, Sagen, ect. aufzuschreiben (das macht Alraun und Valerian), zu illustrieren (das ist Tillians Steckenpferd) und zu vertonen (das macht Alraun auch)
Man kÜnnte sie also als Nachtschattengewächs bezeichnen : D
Im Hintergrund sind BlĂźten und BlĂźtendiagramme zu sehen. Grade die schematische Darstellung von BlĂźtendiagrammen fasziniert mich. das werde ich noch mal irgendwo einbauen o.o be prepared!

I found this truly massive dandelion at my nearest crossroads. I've been set for a while on taking in an alraun, so I dug them up at dawn and took them home in exchange for an offering. All records of crafting an alraun frame the spell by the moon cycle, so I'll wait until the next dark moon to continue the ritual under the eye of Hekate.
The newly acquired mandrake should be bathed in wine, wrapped in red and white silk and covered with a black velvet cloak. Every weekday it should be bathed again and afterwards fed, but there is considerable disagreement about what it should have to eat. The majority incline to the opinion that it was sufficient if it received communion bread which one had refrained from swallowing at the altar-rail. Others thought that 'a portion of fasting spittle' was what it liked best, and there were learned folk who insisted that the mandrake should, above all, be fed with the red earth of Paradise, from which it and we and, indeed, the whole multiplicity of creation originated. This last idea, however, seems hardly to agree very well with the fact that medieval alchemists coveted the mandrake precisely because it contained some of this unique kind of earth, which was so necessary as a catalyst in the production of the Philosopher's Stone.
