Aranea Serket I, the Slyph of Light, have 8een historically the least popular mem8er of our group. Many sweeps ago, a series of ill-thought-out revenges caused the loss of my eye and arm, as well as most of the luck I had accrued. Perhaps that lapse of luck is why our session ultim8ly did not adequ8ly prepare the next universe for success? A chilling notion indeed. I have modelled myself after my ancestor, the great Schemist Lucy8ird. I found her journal when I was 8arely a wriggler, and her tales of espionage and sa8atoge against )(er Ceremonious Countess and battles with other sta8oteurs and legislacer8ors inspired much of the way I have conducted myself. I even modelled my favor8 Flarp character after her! ::::)
Latula Pyrope The Knight of Mind was a frequent enemy to me throughout our session. Many years ago, in a fury that I hurt her m8sprit, she used some unknown connection to manipul8 my magic cue 8all against me, destroying my eye and arm. To complete the cycle of revenge, I used a reacharound to 8ypass her 8lood's inn8 resistance to psychic power and 8lind her with Alternia's 8lazing sun. I suppose this is why she resents me as much as she does. She seems wildly insecure a8out this disa8ility, acting like a carefree daredevil, even if it puts herself and her allies in danger. She even wears those headphones despite hearing 8eing one of her 8est assets, just to garner more attention. During our session, she took the role of the leader of the red team, much to her teamm8 Kankri's ire. However, she was a gr8er leader than he could ever 8e. Without her guidance, we as a collective may have never succeeded. I often think a8out how her and my situ8ion mirrors that of our ancestors. Attorney Redsight, a sta8oteurs for the Countess's personal counter-su8terfuge unit. Lucy8ird wrote much a8out the two's conflicts. She wrote much a8out their climactic 8attle that left Redsight herself 8linded. It was soon after that that Lucy8ird would seek refuge with a certain expatri8, until the second and ultim8 8attle 8etween the two sta8oteurs. There is nothing written of 8eyond that, so one can only assume that Schemist Lucy8ird did not survive that encounter. My final encounter with Latula as of writing this ended much the same.
Porrim Maryam The Maid of Space was always on emotional cleanup duty. She was the one who took to 8eing my moirail after the incident that left me disarmed. I 8elieved at the time it was of pity, 8ut quickly realized she was worried a8out my continuing to cause harm. We remained moirails for some time while she 8ounced 8etween various flushed partners. 8ut when I inevita8ly persued a romantic interest with Rufioh, she 8roke up with me!!!!!!!! She and Kankri worked through their differences to 8egin 8reeding frogs, though their 8ickering lead to rushing, and imperfections. It was that that led to the next universe containing the cancerous Tumor. That was always odd to me, given the 8ond 8etween their ancestors. The Virtuoso, Maryam's ancestor, raised Kankri's ancestor, the Silenced. She was his first ally, and the one who pushed him to start his re8ellion. And yet here the two are, thousands of years later, 8ickering like children.
Meulin Leijon The Mage of Heart was purrhaps the most underr8ed mem8er of our party. She spent much of our session attempting to matchmake amongst us, nearly making an effort to not particip8 in things. 8ut her experience in ancestral kittymajyyks and her affa8le, if not a tad over8earing, personality lead many of us to rely on her to get us through. Sweeps ago, she and Kurloz were a powerful moiraillegence, though they went seper8 ways after a horri8le incident left her completely deaf. Despite this, she remained a good companion to most. She even held an unlikely moiraillegence with Horuss. Though things ended poorly when her former moirail snapped, and the clown killed her and her new one. The tale of Meulin Leijon is a tragic one. Her ancestor likewise held a similar place, a powerful ally to the Silenced who used her kittymajyyks and connections to certain high8loods to seize certain key points throughout the re8ellion. Yet still, not much is known a8out her. Perhaps this is due to her connections with the E%cluded Darkmare, an expert in o8fuscation.
