Me, Season 1: Yeah, Pallura’s a crack ship and I only like it because they’re both girls, but it’s cute! It’s fine that it’s not canon, it’s not like it’s gonna be my OTP or something.
Me, Season 8: Pidge was in love with Allura and I can prove it! And Allura would’ve been receptive if Pidge had asked her before Lance! This is going to consume my life for years!
The best Pallura dynamic is and will always be Allura just so completely smitten with Pidge and Pidge completely oblivious because Allura is so obviously out of her league.

Pidge didn’t really want to be here - in fact, she could think of millions of other places she would rather be than a military ball, but Lance had promised that Allura would be there in all her finery, which was apparently impossible to say no to after not sleeping for three days.
“Look, trust me,” Lance says with a grin as Pidge nearly trips over her dress for the tenth time, “she’s around here somewhere - oh, hey, Allura, hey! I’ve got someone I want you to meet!”
Then the Princess finally catches her eye, decked in the most beautiful dress Pidge has ever seen, and she decides that this, here, is exactly how she dies.

Yeah, it’s Pillura. Yeah, it’s an AU. Yes, a lot of it involves texting. No, I haven’t updated my Plance-fic yet. But, maybe, you can accept this as a little after Christmas treat?
