my argument for alien!sagau reader
I have seen quite a bit of god!reader or impostor!reader for sagau, and I would like to offer a new concept: reader/player as an alien.
This would essentially give the reader/player all of the knowledge of Earth and things outside of Genshin, but due to the in-game powers we have (characters and upgrade mechanics) we may come across as a god, but are actually an otherworldy being. The tropes that would come with this are :
- language barriers, like reader using slang by accident and having to cover it up
- math and science gaps, reader would know what DNA is but genshin characters don't
- music Venti doesn't recognize because it's not from Teyvat (wrote a Venti that couldn't recognize a Kesha song one time it was just as funny as you think it is)
- reader being aware of therapy (in all of the lore I have seen not once is therapy mentioned in any nation, maybe a reader/player could introduce teyvat to emotional wellbeing lmfao)
- general game mechanic fuckery to the tune of
"Y/n, I can't beat this monster."
"Eat this giant stack of steak and eggs, it'll help" (the dish is a Pile Em Up)
"Y/n, I feel so much more powerful now. How did you do that?"
"Bring me 40 more Starconches and you can get stronger."
