Jodie, thinking: What is taking him so long? The club is not open tonight, he was supposed to be home after the store closed. I thought he would help me put Elvira to bed for once. Oh well, at least she's finally asleep and I get to spend some time relaxing.
Jodie: I thought you'd never even come home.
Malcolm: You know how it is... had to do some after hours restocking on those SimPods. They're selling quite fast!
Jodie: And... how was your day? Did anything else happen?
Malcolm: Not much, other than Aldric complaining a lot as usual. I don't get it, if he hates working here so much, why doesn't he just quit? If he keeps this up, we might have to fire him before his attitude catches onto the others.
Jodie: But Aldric is good at his job, I don't want to lose him. Why don't we just give him a raise?
Malcolm: Oh, you always wanna give raises to everyone. Employee satisfaction isn't all about the salary!
Jodie: But it sure does make bad workloads more bearable to know you're being compensated properly.
Malcolm: Do you think we don't compensate our employees well?
Jodie: I just think that clearly they are trying to express some dissatisfaction and we should hear them out and consider their feelings.
Malcolm: Christ, what's next, you're gonna vote for the Workers' Party?
