#albedo lore

Nigredo is the first step, so is the P1 in Rhinedottir's project of creation a synthetic human. Nigredo is when it is darkened, in Jung's psychology it means corruption of the soul; it goes through its darkest. So is P1, corrupted by being neglected; he played the role of a villain, trying to replace Albedo and attacking those in suspense of his plans (Traveler and their friends). Nigredo includes decomposition, which can be linked to Prototype-1 being "digested" (not literally as he seems to be ok physically, but he was indeed eaten by Durin after all.)

Rubedo, on the other hand, is the final step in the creation of philosophers' stone. It is the stage at which it reddens (as the name itself says). In alchemy, red is generally associated with gold. During the rubedo stage, soul reaches it's balance, it becomes something more than a mere mortal.

Albedo has been ruining Albedo’s reputation for weeks fr (not a ship ! ¡ but it’s them idc)

did anyone fucking realise how traveller has been kinda sus about the fact we may not have met the fake albedo after he came back from the cavern? that there might be TWO imposters? and then at the end of his quest it turned out to be true…and considering how that one was talking about some failed human project and the fake albedo we first met said “useless things should be disposed of at the outset”….do you guys get where i’m going with this i’m so amazed at this lore

errr someone who’s actually a lore enthusiast needs to help me out because why the fuck was the last act ended so abruptly? we literally ended this whole event talking about sunsettias hello…

albedo clearly knows and understands the failed subject and he also talks about the failed subject inserting himself into albedo’s life and eventually trying to take over. considering how the act ended, and how sus we were of the albedo we met at the end, does this mean that’s the fake one? I would assume so but he has the mark….but the mark disappeared midway too i’m so fucking confused mihoyo please don’t end it like this if what i’m saying is true and they’re implying the fake albedo succeeded that abrupt ending got a lot darker than i thought

Letter Addressed to Mr. Albedo

Dear Albedo,

Thank you for the detailed explanation. I have read your paper and found it both enriching and easy to understand. It is a rare and well-written document indeed.

I have written the relevant information down in hopes that it will be put to good use in the future.

Guarding against danger is a very important skill. I will continue to keep watching over the Abyss Order, and use force against them where necessary.

Letter Addressed to Ms. Alice

Dear Ms. Alice,

I must admit that when I read the opening lines of this letter, I was not expecting it to have been written by you.

It seems that I may have indeed failed to notice you despite your presence nearby. My apologies for that.

Regarding Klee, I have heard that you are an extremely powerful witch, so I suspect that Klee would have been just fine even sans my presence.

Even so, you sent me this letter, for which I am thankful.

As you have said, traveling is my best option at present. I will go out and experience all that the world has to offer, just as you have suggested.

My father's will shall find continuation through me.
